The Word On The Street Book & Magazine Fair runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on the last Sunday in September,in Vancouver, Calgary, Kitchener, Toronto and Halifax. What a great way to feel as though Canada is united in a national celebration of literacy and the printed word despite her vast geographical distances.

Look for details shortly about the authors who will be doing book launches and book signings on the day.

We will have a shelf of Rooster Fish Press/Windshift Press books at the Frankfurt Bookfair this October. For those of you who are new to the world of publishing the Frankfurt Bookfair is the premiere bookfair in the world. With 16,000 editors, agents, movie scouts and other publishing professionals from around the world looking for new projects it is a terrific opportunity.

In 2005 the total number of visitors to the Frankfurt Bookfair on all five days of the Fair was 284,838 people.
